by Ahmed Omar on September 21, 2011

Apple is expected to hold its usual fall media event on October 4th where Apple’s current CEO Time Cook will announce the iPhone 5 and associated platforms and services. The iPhone 5 will be available “within a few weeks” after the announcement of the device in the fall media event.

The news comes from AllThingsD (a very reliable source) where some sources close to the situation reported the date to showcase the iPhone 5.

Tuesday, October 4.
That’s the day Apple is currently expected to hold its next big media event, according to sources close to the situation, where the tech giant will unveil the next iteration of its popular iPhone.

Since Steve Jobs announced his resignation from his position, Tim Cook will take the stage to unveil the much waited iPhone in his first Apple keynote ever.

The iPhone 5 is highly expected to come with Apple’s latest A5 processor (used in the iPad 2), a fairly different design: teardrop design, an 8MP camera with camera and will get pre-installed iOS 5 on it.

During Apple’s fall media event, there’s a high probability that Apple will announce the release date of the final version of iOS 5.

According to the report, we have less than two weeks to wait since Apple will start send its event invites very soon.
