Download iOS 5.0.1 9A406 For iPhone 4S

Apple has today rolled out an iOS 5.0.1 build 9A406 update for the newly released iPhone 4S along with iOS 4.4.4 release for Apple TV 2G.  That’s not iOS 5.1 download update for all devices, instead, this 9A406 build update is meant only for iPhone 4S and Apple TV.

This build appears to be a minor tweak for the current iOS 5.0.1. There’s no major changes reported till now. We’ll keep you updated if we have been reported with any changes.

    so confused. i’ve been sitting on iOS 5.0 since the 4S release day because i’m scared of losing my Jailbreak option. Seems sketchy that Apple pushed a “new and revised” version of firmware it ALREADY released…and it was right when Pod2G completed his untether. This whole thing is awkward. I’m staying here with my original 5.0 firmware and avoiding all updates until the official iOS 5 untether for A5′s is out. I’m not ruining what i’ve been waiting months for. Pod2G you rule! finish the A5 JB’s quick mate. much love!

    i pluged my iphone in and and opened the jailbreaking program and it told me what one 406

    i had my iphone 4s before running 5.0.1 9a405 then i had it jailbroken, after a few weeks it was restored by itunes then it was already 5.0.1 9a406, i was trying to re jailbreak it but absinthe won’t detect it anyway, pls send some help, what shud i do?
