The Greenpois0n Absinthe A5 untethered jailbreak tool for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 has been updated to version 0.3 to bring support to Linux operating system. There’s nothing really new in v0.3 except some cosmetic changes and a fix for a small bug which comes to Windows users.
The Absinthe jailbreak has been released last Friday to welcome A5 users in the jailbreak community. Absinthe jailbreak tool was downloaded over 1 million times on that day. Cydia was also installed on 953,232 iOS devices over the weekend.
Here’s what Chronic Dev Team member Nikias Bassen says about the new release:
Since people ask: #Absinthe 0.3 only has some cosmetic changes, and a potential bug fix for win32 (only really few people seem affected)— Nikias Bassen (@pimskeks) January 24, 2012
