i rebooted the phone with just boot, turned wifi on and off, resprung, and tried again and to no avail, same problem as before…. Anybody have a solution?

It’s not Siri. It’s not gonna replace Voice Control. Look on your iPhones keyboard and theres supposed to be a little microphone icon. Thats all it is as of now.

I Orlando Quintero think have found a bug when using Siri0us =) this is a bug on iPhones only because when you press the microphone to talk if you put anything in the sensor above the speaker you put on your ear to answer a call the screen will go black like if you’re on a call

I’m not sure why the boot rom affects this though, but if that is true, it explains why my old bootROM 3Gs does not have the mic icon on the keyboard after installing.

Siri0us Voice Dictation Hack Removed From Cydia Over Licensing Issues

i don’t even see the dictation icon on my keyboard.

Here’s the fix. First remove Siri0us completely and respring. Then goto your general settings and select “Reset All Settings” let it reboot on its own. When that’s finished, turn the phone off and reboot tethered using redsn0w or whichever tool you used to boot tethered. Then re-install Siri0us from the Xsellize repo. This fixes it trust me! I was banging my head trying to figure this out and it has something to with core settings.
Notes, Safari, Facebook etc APP CRASHES SOLVED FOR SIR0US !!

To assist you some more, make sure that in your SB Setting Mobile Subtrate adding you have Siri0us enabled before removing it and re-installing it. This will also cause it not to work, because Sir0us hasn’t been fully removed. Hopefully this your issue.
