Bring MissionControl and LaunchPad To iOS With Imperium (VIDEO)

by Dillon Shand on March 15, 2012

Not many multitasking tweaks make it to the Cydia Hall of Fame, but we think we have a keeper for you guys today! The tweak is called Imperium, developed by SaltB0x and this one is a beauty!

Looking at the image to the left, you can see how it looks a lot like LaunchPad for Mac! The background is darker and blurred away giving it a very nice effect when viewing Imperium. You can customize how Imperium opens by using an Activator event such as “Double press home button” and many other options. There’s 3 different pages of Imperium when you activate it, so let’s break it down!

As soon as you trigger Imperium, you’ll be greeted with your multitasking apps/app switcher. All the apps that are present here all have the little red icon on them for ease of killing those apps. If you scroll to the right, you’ll be see many toggles including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, brightness, and more. And if you swipe over once more, you’ll see a list of all apps on your device. In the Imperium settings, you can choose 4 of your favorite apps to show in the dock within Imperium.

This tweak is actually very nice and worth the $0.99 price tag. Tell us how you like it, we certainly do! Check out this video of Imperium in action.
