iTunes 10.5.2 Released With iTunes Match And Audio Distortion Fixes

by Adeel Qayum on December 13, 2011

Apple released iTunes 10.5.1 along with the much awaited iTunes Match service last month. Even though they released it two weeks later than the initial set release date, a lot of users had complains regarding the iTunes Match.

Apple seeing this issue came up with an updated version iTunes 10.5.2. This new version claims that it contains fixes for both iTunes Match and also the CD-related audio distortion problem.

This has been Apple’s second big release of the day, as earlier we told you that the company seeded IOS 5.1 beta 2 to developers. The fruit company has taken a lot of criticism over their recent software releases, back in October with a buggy iOS 5 launch.

But the good thing is that Apple looks towards making things right, and continue to release frequent updates for mobile OS, and tackle the bugs in iTunes Match. You can download it from Apple’s site here or grab it from the Apple Software Update Utility.

And after several individual downloads and installation attempts the software still will not run on my Windows 7 HP laptop! At least version 10.5.1 installed even if it did not deliver as advertised.

Update: I followed Apple’s directions for troubleshooting a failed install, and now have it working. Thanks Apple.
