The iPhone Dev Team today released redsn0w 0.9.9b2 that brings some bug fixes and enhancements to the Verizon iPhone 4. The update is also important for those getting problems with the previous redsn0w 0.9.9b1 released few weeks ago.

Version 0.9.9b2 has been released with fixes and enhancements related to: Verizon iPhone4 firmware detection, Fix Recovery, Stitching, and blob processing. If you encountered a problem with any of these in the b1 version, please try b2 and leave any feedback below!
Redsnow 0.9.9b2 doesn’t bring untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.5. It, as previous, jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 4.3.4 tethered only while iOS 4.3.3 is untethered.

While we’re waiting for the iPhone 5 /4S announcement later today, we’ve to tell you that both the iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team have their own untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.
P0sixninja of the Chronic Dev Team, during MyGreatFest, has announced that the team has 5 new userland jailbreak exploits while will be available once the new mystery device is released. The new jailbreak on the horizon will support iPad 2 on iOS 5.
