How To Make Your iPhone Home Home Button More Responsive

Have you ever felt that your iPhone’s home button sometimes starts to get a little laggy and unresponsive? If so, then we’ve a very simple solution for you discovered by the guys over at iDownloadBlog.

The issue happens because of the software not the hardware. Many of our users have confirmed that once they have done the below steps, they felt with a great difference in the response of their iPhone’s home button.

It works by re-calibrating your iPhone’s home button so it works as you have just got your iPhone. Follow the below steps:

STEP 1: Open a stock app, like Weather or Stocks.

STEP 2: Press and hold your power button until “slide to power off” appears and release.

STEP 3: Press and hold your Home button until the “slide to power off” goes away, and the app force quits. Your iPhone’s Home button should now be more responsive, because it has been recalibrated.

    If this doesn’t work for you OR if your home button completely has failed just plug your USB sync cable into your iDevice. Push up from underneath with mild to medium pressure. Your home button will work again. Works everytime

    this is not a software issue… its a hardware issue… and I have an easy and quick fix for this… just drop sufficient amounts of isopropyl alcohol onto the homekey while holding the iphone VERTICALLY (this to prevent going to the lcd) then… while homekey is wet rapidly press it.. Make sure to do this on POWER OFF mode ha….

    My girlfriend had this issue and she made a restore and all that, no help so she brought it back to Apple and they replaced the button…
