it seems to work, just not very smart yet. Although, I did ask if she would get me a beer and it said yes master… so I guess kind of smart. Can’t get it to text, call, or set reminders though.

Im afraid that if i install this on my iPhone 4S it could steal my 4S siri token or something like that to use it on public prox or worse.

Obviously too many people are trying to download this at the same time, overloading the server. I have been downloading for 4 hrs now. Timing out periodically, but I’ll get there. Lol. It’s free. What do we expect.

Works ok just needs some use to get smarter. Opens apps but won’t search web or send text. But maybe in time.

It works but only sometimes.mi asked questions and most of the time it wont reply. Won’t beat Siri. But at least it’s something so can’t complain.

Hello everyone. It’s not bad! in contrast, I think it’s quite good: in voice recognition is precise (considering that my native language is not english, hence my accent can be sometimes different), however, it stays in “thinking” mode (with the circle going rounds), without response in the most questions! Maybe there’s an overload in the servers or sthing…

Here are problems with my SARA

1. have no icon on home screen.
2. she do not recognize what i say.
3. do not open apps and set reminde or call.

Do i missed some important file needed for SARA ??

I did its kinda working when you say open facebook it opens it. but the thing is that it dose not connect to a server and it will never do. its a scam to get as much donation as possible.

I think you are absolutely right, it does not and will not connect to a server. It simply opens apps. It took me several attempts to download as I kept getting the “http” error in red in Cydia. Finally got it and have been playing around with it. Voice recognition is good, but if you ask it anything more an opening apps, it just sits in “thinking mode”. Spire was the best app Siri app I have found thus far (even after using siriport), but as with all of them, the servers got overload and it ceased working witting 48 hours. No luck on finding more proxie that work. Fun stuff to play with while waiting to upgrade phone with real Siri, but so far no match for the real thing and many dead ends.

Useless! Will not connect to servers, only opens apps and has limited cute little responses built in. It is just a scam. Spire is still the way to go. Ask this thing anything more Than “who am I” and it just hangs in thinking mode.

Agreed. It is a scam to get donations for more “development”. The program does not and will never connect to a server. Limited to simply responses and opening apps. Ask it about the weather and it hangs. Ask it to open weather and it does. Good voice recognition for free, but limited value.

It is worthless. Want more proof: just ask it the time. It will f it up by either hanging and not respond or giving you a different time each time you ask I asked it three times in sixty seconds and it gave me times varied by 15 mins. WTF? Steer clear.

Mines working perfectly fine, but it regularly says”Sorry, nobita is teaching me how to answer this”, I guess its still early in development, It doesn’t seem to set reminders and stuff properly either, but you can have a conversation with it

Sara told me that “Nobita is preparing upgrade my brain with awsome speed !”

This works good for me…. Not Siri but a nice choice until they make spire proxy free

It is working nicely for me. It gave me the correct date and hour, and told me she lives in my iPhone. It can give me information on several cities and their population. It could even tell me a (bad) joke!. I think it is getting smarter and is learning to answer more logically.

Sara just got upgraded to 0.2.1 now but it’s a Pre-release in cydia but I still prefer using 0.2 n once fully function of Sara i will update her ^_^

Hellow guys here some help for you,
ask her:
1) TAKE A PHOTO, (dont forget the A) after you take the photo press USE then she will ask you what to do with the photo , you can tell her FACEBOOK “RANDOM” it will post the picture in facebook with titel (the RANDOM thing you say), like: FACEBOOK i love that photo.
2) WIKIPEDIA “RANDOM”, (it will search what ever you say after wikipedia in wikipedia).
3) OPEN “say app name you have”, ( then it will open any app you say, like: open tango)
4) TELL DAD THAT “i will call him later” ( dont forget the THAT after dad without it wont work, then it will send a message).
5) search for “random”, (and it will search in google for what ever you ask her, like: searth for iphone).
6) PLAY “ANY MUSIC YOU WANT ” , ( if you have the song on music it will play it and if not it will play from the net), like: play no promises).
7) SEARCH FOR “RANDOM” VIDEO ON YOUTUBE, (it will search for video on youtube), like: search for iphone video on youtube.

and other stuff like what’s the weather like,
tell me about someone
what’s the capital of random country
what the time in random country

I am having so much fun! THANK YOU!! Haha, I even argued with her.. Posting pics up on my facebook, aha.
Although, the English grammar could be better and when she speaks, the voice does glitch sometimes, certain syllables not sounded out.
A bit sluggish compared to Siri, but when I use her on basic internet(not 4G or 3G) over T-Mobile, she does pretty well, about 5-6 second gaps of lag between responding and listening.
A couple of times the button lagged out to be non-responsive & responded about 15 seconds later.
She listens & understands my words WAY more clear than any other voice apps I have used. Still misunderstandings here and there though.
She doesn’t punctuate her responses, here and there there are periods at the end. She doesn’t capitalize except the first word.
There’s a help button for what commands to use and how.
Settings is very NEAT. You can set your name and she will greet you by your name every time you open her app.
Comes with two voices, Sara voice(sounds like Siri) & Enhanced voice which I think sounds less human and too automated. Both voices are feminine.
AND. She’s way meaner than Siri. Ahaha.
Overall, very impressive alternative!

I’ve used Sara for about a month and found it very rewarding. I can do almost everything as promised but reminders and alarm. Hope it will happen soon. Anyone needing help please ask me

Mine works almost 100% fine. A bit better on the voice recognition would be nice, but It works a lot better than I would have anticipated reading all of the comments below. I never had any issue getting it installed but I’d imagine some of the people that did should try being connected to wifi and in a really good service area.
