by Ahmed Omar on October 16, 2011

iOS 5′s new notification center might be the best feautre in the new software but jailbreaking can make it event better. For example, the recently reviewed OmniStat is a good tweak to add to the notification center. Now comes StatusGoogle.

StatusGoogle

StatusGoogle is a new tweak available in Cydia which adds a Google search bar to your new iOS 5 notification center. You can already do that from Spotlight but at least StatusGoogle is a new way to search Google from your iOS device.

StatusGoogle tweak

StatusGoogle tweak can be got from BigBoss repository for free. Once you get it, you’ll need to add the widget to your notification center. You will also need a jailbroken device to do so. To jailbreak iOS 5, you can follow our guide posted here and to add jailbreak widgets follow the guide posted here.
