The iPhone 5 Could Be Waterproof (VIDEO)

by Adeel Qayum on January 17, 2012

A company named Liqupel has been the subject over a week. The work of the company involves invisible, liquid-repelling coating which can make gadgets waterproof. The good thing? It can make your iPhone waterproof as well.

However, the rumors are that Apple might be interested in another company named HZO which is offering a similar technology. Recently, Pocket-Link.com exchanged words with an HZO representative. Here is the report:

“We showed the Samsung Chairman the technology with a Samsung Galaxy S that we had coated with HZO and he couldn’t believe his eyes,” a representative of the company told us. “Samsung is really excited by the tech.” The company has told us that they are talking to Apple as well, hoping to be able to let Apple make the iPhone 5 waterproof. “We expect HZO to be in next season’s phones,” HZO told Pocket-lint rather confidently.”

Here is a video of the concept:

I certainly do hope that a contract is signed. As it will bring benefit to many if not all. Other companies might also step up their game if a contract is agreed. With such technology, our iPhones would become invincible.

Thoughts?

should look like number 3. after all the slim phones and tech that exsists apple could do wonders with the iphone5 not just the same features thats can be loaded onto any of the older modes. although its good to keep the older models up to date when u buy a new phone u want better faster technology and quality ive had every iphone and have the 4s now n will only get the 5 if it is tottally thinner faster and better in every way.

Liquipel allows this to be done on the phone you have in your hand. And no, I’m not trying to spam or advertise.

I checked out HZO’s website and there’s no way to get it on your phone right now. They only work with manufacturing lines of companies. With liquipel, you send them your device, and pay the fee, and they apply the same coating to your device and then send the phone back you you. Yes, you have to go a week without your phone, but it’s so worth it. I’m getting it done on my 4S in the next week. On Friday, I’ll be sending my phone out.

HZO is extremely nice for my future devices, as long as Apple gets a contract for them, however for my device right now, Liquipel is the way to go.

Its a coating that allows water to not actually touch the components. So basically the iPod and speaker were functioning as if water wasn’t there. Its an amazing technology.
