What is the Reason For iH8Snow’s… SNowbreeze is the Greatest Tool in my views but people think REdsnow more effective

Cydia is not opening with this jailbreak tool…..

and… unlock? there is any hope?

it will work if cook a custom firmware (iOS 5 GM), for an iPhone 3GS with iPad baseband(preserving baseband) ?? it will restore fine or it will give me errors like 1015??

tried it 4 times, Didn’t work

I’m prompted with Itunes error 2005.

My phone shut down… shows the snowflake logo… then iTunes says error code 10 and it all freezes up… my phone is now DEAD and won’t load the jailbroken iOS 5… what do I do???

i used tinyumbrella and ran its service, then started to load the custom ipsw with itunes but after the snowbreeze icon shows up on the iphone with just a tad bit of the bar progressing, it just stops and itunes gives me error 10. the iphone gets stuck in tethered mode and that the only way to boot it, had to restore to 4.3.3 to get it back
what am i doing wrong? this has happened at least 3 times, same result with error 10

load 4.3.3 on it, u will need to boot it up using redsnow in tethered mode, then do the restore of custom 4.3.3 ipsw

i put said device into dfu, and then shift + restore the desired ipsw
it didnt phone home, and worked,

i tried it with a majorly unsupported version by itunes 8 (in dfu and worked) note: it would not do it in normal or recovery boot mode.

so something seems to be working

Open My Compuer/Windows/System32/Drivers/Etc then right click on Host and open it, delete the whole lines with gs.apple.com, save it then try restoring it.

The sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 worked for my Ipod Touch 4g. But the Cydia app won’t open. It crashes as soon as I open it. Also when I selected the “Install SSH files’ option. I cannot use WinSCP to gain access to my iPod Touch.. Any ideas people??? Seeing this is only beta 8. I really don’t have much concern until the proper version comes out.

Oh never mind I found out. For those who have problems with jailbreaking with sn0wbreeze’s 2.8b8 here are some steps.

1) create the ipsw
2) follow the DFU instructions and let the iREB ‘tweet’ your iPod Touch or iPhone
3) In iTune Shift + Restore to find the new Jailbroken 5.0 Firmware
4) Let the iPod Touch or iPhone restore (if error 2003 or 2009, redo it)
5) When iPod Touch or iPhone has a lockscreen, etc Put iPod Touch or iPhone in DFU mode again.
-Hold Power and Home for 10secs- -Release Power button until in DFU mode-
6) Run iBooty – this puts your iPod Touch or iPhone in a jailbroken state
7) Cydia and SSH files should now work <XD

i ran sn0breeze jailbreak and also have no service with the iphone 4 cdma. the jailbreak seems to work ok, i can access cydia, but no stable phone service…any ideas?

Just to confirm, I need to put my iPhone to DFU mode and boot using iBooty (which are steps 5 and 6 on your comment) right after iTunes restore process?

Cydia won’t open in my iPhone, I did not proceed to steps 5 & 6, I thought I will only use iBooty when my iPhone got its battery empty.

how do u download it to ur computer

cydia will not open

To help cydia to open, go to your desktop and click iBooty and just reboot your phone, follow the instructions and once you’re done, Cydia should open. Hope this helps!
