Well, yes, it came earlier than promised. Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.0.1 has recently been released. Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 does NOT unlock high basebands. Only basebands mentioned in the post can be unlocked. Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 mainly brings support to iOS 5.0.1.
