Unless it’s the unlock for 4.11.08 I really don’t give a fuck not do the thousands of jailbreakers promised an unlock solution in the supposed testing stages for the last 3 months.

Can anyone confirm if this is working on 3GS old bootrom?? Last time, someone released a fake/not working one and I had to roll back to 4.3.3.

Just installed the fix and it works! Got old bootrom so untethered for me!

For 3gs users. First install your custom 5.1 update (make custom via redsnow). Then push jailbreak in redsnow, only install the new ipad baseband first (uncheck jailbreak). reboot. THEN jailbreak THEN install the unlock fixer via redsnow.

Wen jailbreaking redsnow asks you to manually select the original 5.1 firmware because youve allready ‘exploited’ the phone. You can do this by going to extra -> select ipsw.

and unlocked my carier network with ultrasnowfix for 5.1 the ultrasnow 2.5
the activated my pushnotification using SAM and it all work fine
but its just tethered jailbreak (new bootrom)

I jailbroke the fisrt time with snowbreeze and unlocked a few mintues later with ultrasnow. Then the Iphone got stuck on Apple logo so I had to restore. Then the second time I jailbroke with Redsnow with NO BB restore and then unlocked with the ultrasnow fixer first and then ultrasnow. Still saying Searching…

I dont know what to do. I have checked dozens of blogs and videos with no success.

I updated it/jailbroken with redsnow to IOS 5.1 Firmw 06:15:00 and it was not recognizing the SIM card, which is not the original but I had SAM installed. The message No Network was hanging…

u should try to flash the ipad baseband with redsnow, thats how i got mine to work because i had the same problem

to anyone trying, after install u MUST power off completely then power back on, or it will just sit there for hours searching for network. i uninstalled 3 times cause i thought it didnt work,,, till i was told to do hard boot not just re-spring

I have an Iphone 3GS with basedband 5.16.05. My serial number is a 2009 44wk
I downgrade ios to 4.1 and after I use redsn0w to install Cydia and Ipad baseband.

Now the phone is at 6.15.0 baseband with ios 4.1 installed.
When I put my original sim card or any other one, I got No Service. It seems that the carrier is recognized is Setting->General->About.

How can I solve that Issue

Here are the steps that I did to try to solve the issue:
- First, I install ultraSn0w (did not solve the issue)
- I tried reinstalling ipad BB (did not solve the issue)

you have to use a custom firmware and downgrade as redsnow does not support 5.1 and 5.1.1 i did the same and used redsnow to builsd a custom firmware sucks now im back to 4.1 and all my apps dont work thay only work with 4.2.1 up good luck or you could wait till the dev team

A new ultrasn0w came out (1.2.7 I believe), you have to uninstall every previous ultrasn0w fixer and ultrasn0w and install the new one. It worked for me

If you would buy an unlocked iphone in the first place you would not have any issues! If your phone is locked to a specific carrier, then you should contact your carrier. If you finished paying off your 24 months contract then the phone is yours and the carrier HAS to unlock it for you. Same reason why Apple can not unlock them, they have contracts with the carriers! Whywould they unlock a phone that is not yours? An advice: next time you want something, think before you buy, an unlocked phone with a prepaid card is for most users cheaper than a 24 months contract!
